Broken Box Mime Theater
Double Take
A two-hander of BKBX favorites performed by Tasha Milkman and Becky Baumwoll, Double Take will perform at 12p at the Tank and 2p at Wild Project. All proceeds will be split between these two beloved theaters as a benefit performance to support reopening in the after-times. Broken Box Mime Theater (BKBX) is a collaborative company that reimagines French pantomime for contemporary audiences.
Morgan Morse is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor originally from Connecticut. His songs are an eclectic mix of styles, drawing from and combining elements of folk, rock, pop and electronic music. His brother once described his music as “Jonathan Coulton if he was really sad”, so take that as you will, but he would clarify that it’s “fun-sad”, not “sad-sad”. Like, dancing while laughing and also maybe crying just a little bit at the same time. He also makes silly videos on TikTok, where he somehow has ended up with 83,000 followers because life is absurd.
Samantha Sayah is a singer, musician, and actor based in NYC. She was last seen playing Girl in Once at the Geva Theatre Center. Other theatre credits include The Player’s Theatre, Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, Astoria Performing Arts Center, Summer Theatre of New Canaan, Disney Cruise Line & Tokyo Disney Resort. Elliot Greer is an NYC-based indie singer/songwriter, and actor.
Over quarantine, Elliot wrote, self-produced and released his debut album Handcrafted which was all recorded in his bathroom. It got over 10,000 streams on Spotify alone in its first week and caught the attention of indie rock stars The Lumineers, who shared It on their most recent playlist. Elliot has performed everywhere from the world’s largest theatres to live music bars. Some noteworthy performances include: playing Guy in Once, A Salute to Chita Rivera at Carnegie Hall, opening for Sandi Thom at Stirling Castle, and singing at Sting’s Birthday Celebration.
Follow Elliot on Instagram @elliot_greer and Tik Tok @elliotgreer and listen to Handcrafted on Spotify and all other music platforms.
