Monica Shinn is a painter living in Providence, Rhode Island. She studied art in Provincetown, MA; Portland, Oregon; Asheville, N.C., and a few other places. Her paintings are about people and landscapes and place and time. She has been a painter for twenty-eight years, twenty of them in Providence. She feels lucky and often inspired to live in a city with so many talented painters and printmakers. Monica has been a fan of the Queen’s Company since its beginning and is honored to be here at the Wild Project during the run of this production.
