Programs
MainStage
The MainStage Production Program is a program wherein wild project serves as the lead producer on full-length theater projects across narrative theatre, musicals, dance and performance art.
About MainStage
MainStage productions receive invaluable project resources, 4 weeks of production and 1 week of tech at our 89-seat theater, performer stipends, marketing, production staff, administrative support, and collaborative input. The program’s goals are to support new theater projects by helping the projects overcome large production costs, promote a collaborative environment with both established and emerging artists, and sustain a vibrant cultural scene in the East Village.
The program generally focuses on but is not exclusive to projects that are New York City premieres. We invite everyone to submit by sending a 10-page excerpt of the proposed project. We strongly encourage proposals from female, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC playwrights, directors, and producers.
To submit a project to wild project for consideration, please fill out the submission form
